Evening Light
As evening falls
and darkness
descendes
We retreat to our
pensiveness
and
Reflect on the day…
our lives…
the future…
A calm ending to
a hectic day
as we move through
the house
turning on lamps
and lighting candles
Darkness chased away
Yet…
Giving use soothing
shadows and
flickering light
to settle in
for the night
