I work on a small elementary campus that has been going through a transformation this year. New administration, new office staff, new teachers ... change is good. The coolest changes are making faculty bathrooms very spa like. There are nice shelves holding hand lotions, room sprays, and other creature comforts that make our daily necessary visits more pleasant. Each one has a variety of inspirational posters and plaques that brighten the room and are uplifting even on those challenging days.
One poster says...Life is story. What does yours say? When I was sent the picture of this little dog, I thought he looked like an inquiring professor and decided he needed to be the vehicle for my questions.
In January, part of our district professional development was conducted by Dr. Eric Cupp. He gave valuable information regarding relationship building and interacting with out at-risk students. His wise words work with any relationship not just student. One of the things that really impressed me was toward the end of the day. He told the audience that each of our lives are made up of 'moments' and these could be good or bad. Regardless, they were what made up our life story. He asked us what our 'moments' and our story said about us.
That made me think, I do mean really think. I am not a bad person, but I do have some qualities that need work. For quite a while, I have been trying to be postive for not only myself but those around me. I have quite a twitter following and they tell me they follow me because I am inspirational and positive with what I share.
Just this past Monday, I was nominated for a Very Inspiring Blogger Award by a writer that I think very highly of and was honored to receive this nomination made by her. So, maybe I am making a difference in the lives of a few people. If I can make just one person happy that is struggling, I feel that I have done something good.
So my challenge to you is to answer the two questions above and decide what your life story says about you. If this is the way you want to be remembered, then you are on the right track. If not, it is never too late to make changes. I am a prime example of the latter.

The poster also reminded me of Sara Rameriz and the song The Story. Enjoy her amazing voice!
Always I wish you peace, joy and happiness, but most of all I wish you LOVE.
