What's in a Name?
Not having a nickname
growing up...
As an adult
I received a few
Little Bit ... I am just under five feet tall
Star ... due to where I live
Kid ... by the love of my life
Sweetheart ... by a very dear friend
Crazy Bitch ... by the "real" one
who lives on the corner
But...
As a true GRITS girl --
"Girl Raised In The South"
My father always called me
by first and middle name
Not because he was mad at me -
as the saying goes!
Just the way things are
done in the South!
