The Wait
The view unfolds before me
High up looking out the window...seeing
fields, forests, purple hills, children playing...all
in the Distance
Turning away...my prison still holds me
The view only a minor distraction
However, the only thing
Reminding me there will
Eventually be freedom
Freedom...
To feel the sun on my face
Gentle breezes caressing my skin
Sweet wild flower scents to arouse my senses
All whispering to me
Don't give up
We are here for you
Always and forever
Waiting
