You both profess love
to the other.
Yet, each of you are
In Pain...
Hurting...
Confused...
I try to console each
of you, yet...
could I be
making things worse
Projecting my past
onto your present
Good intentions
Me loving you both ---
breaking apart inside
while carrying the pain of
your love
On the outside...
the sidelines...
Not knowing what is best to do
How far should I go to
protect each of you
