What a day! Events unfolding for both Boston and West...the good, bad and ugly. Boston was finally successful closing in on those responsible for the bombings. One death, one in critical condition in custody along with others possibly involved. Kept in touch through twitter with a friend in Boston who was sheltered for the day at home like everyone else...waiting to hear of the capture. Shared our joy when it finally happened.
West released numbers of deaths - 14 at the last report I heard, but no names since they are cross referencing names on hospital and missing lists. 50 or more homes destroyed, many more severly damaged. Surrounding school districts have created campuses for all middle through school students using extra facilities and furnishings so the kids can have some normalcy in their lives. So much tragedy, but so much assistance, love and caring.
Me ... arm is stiff today ... cold front aggrivating the bruised and battered areas. Upper arm bruises moving further down below elbow...green on top and purple on my under forearm with the swelling following the paths of the bruises. New things daily!
I am getting way too comfortable being lazy, but what the heck ... time to enjoy.
