Today finds me with a list of things to get done…that cannot possible accomplished in one day. As usual, I am the CEO of Procrastinators Anon with ideas popping up on an hourly basis of what I need to do this final week plus a few days to get done for Christmas.
I first need to do some baking for friends and get that delivered before the week is over. Next issue is finding that damned Apple Dumpling Recipe that I keep seeing on FaceBook. I think I saved it … but where!
I am knitting slipper socks for friends who hinted that they really need some new ones. Well, so do I and with the cold snap last week I kicked myself for not replenishing my own supply.
There are several packages that need to be completed and mailed by mid week … hope that gets done or some people will be getting after Christmas gifts!
Finally, I have a ton of apples to get in the dehydrator … and of course, another bag was in my Bountiful Baskets box when I picked up my last order of the year. But, if I can find that Apple Dumpling recipe … several friends will benefit from my bounty.
And….the thing I keep forgetting to do … add sugar to my Cherry Bounce. Thought about giving it for Christmas gifts, but without the added sugar it will not be ready…so, New Year's seems like a fine time to share that with the friends who will appreciate it.
Bug has turned into a quite curious little cat … right now the equivalent of a toddler in his terrible twos. What does that mean --- he is into EVERYTHING that isn't tied down and thinks anything is a toy for him. This morning he got into the green beans I had spread out to sort for cooking and for dehydrating…everything becomes toy. And…his newest trick is to clime the wall at the corner hall that leads to the bathroom…he can damn near get to the ceiling. It is definitely time to get him snipped!!!
So, hopefully the rest of you are relaxed and ready for Christmas next week and not running around like a crazy person that is my life right now!
