I read this brilliant piece on Brain Pickings this afternoon and started thinking about writing a 7-Word Autobiography. So … I gave it a try …
Independent
Caring
Artistic
Retired
Mystic
Unfinished
Sensual
Of course, there are those who would not agree with this autobiography, but this is what I think at this point in my life. So, really it doesn't matter what others think because it is my 'autobiography'!

My two favorites:
Elizabeth Gilbert playfully riffs off the title of her modern classic:
Eats/Loves too much…should Pray more.
And …
But my favorite comes from notebook-lover Joan Didion, who has a rare gift for wry self-awareness and unwavering self-respect:
Seven words do not yet define me.
I am sure a year from now should I revisit my 'autobiography', the seven words will have changed drastically!
