Lies I Told You
Two can play that game
my Love...
You thought your lies were
covered and not realized
However, below are the
Lies I Told You...
and you had no clue
Lie #1
I never really felt for you
as you felt for me
Lie #2
I hated your taste in
wine and music
But I never let on
Lie #3
I should have told you
your political tirades
made you look like
a petulant ten-year-old
rather than the sage
you viewed yourself to be
Lie #4
Most of your writing is trite...
You have absolutely NO IDEA
how to represent what you think
is so brilliantly penned
Lie #5
You never really satisfied me
But...
I do have a vivid imagination
and wonderful fantasy life...
So...
I took care of my own needs
Lie #6
I pretended your lies...
infidelities...
And
excuses...
didn't phase me
When in reality...
They cut me to the
Bone
