Today's prompt for my writing practice from A Writer's book of Days was the following:
You're Driving in Your Car


Well...immediately my mind went to this song and the album that I nearly wore completely out in the 80s.  This song and Slow Hand were "our" songs during that time...and my current boyfriend once drove 2 hours out of the way just to see me when Slow Hand came on the radio.  So...the Pointer Sisters and their music has always had a special place in my heart and soul.  Below are the lyrics to Fire and below the lyrics is a YouTube video of them singing at EPCOT in 2011.


I hope you enjoy reading the lyrics and listening to the music as much as I always have and that it brings a smile to your face...I know I have been smiling since I first read the prompt this morning.
