I am giving Weebly one last chance to see if I can make a post without getting the dreaded error message. I have been fighting this battle for nearly two years and am ready to give this web company the boot.
Rant over ...
Today is the three year anniversary of Sandy Hook. Things never change. Little has been said of today's anniversary anywhere...news media, social media, conversations ... how soon we forget ... how things never change ... how our nation now just accepts another mass shooting ... another senseless killing of innocents ... another crazed shooter ... yet, there are more guns than ever ... gun sales sky rocketed after the recent shootings in Colorado and California ... still those who block any type of gun reform (notice I did not say control) say "guns don't kill people" ... well, guns in the hands of the wrong people seem to create situations of unnecessary and unexpected mass death.
Below is th link to a post I made on a different website days after the Sandy Hook massacre ...

At the time, I was working in a large Central Texas school district that serves the largest military installation in the world, in a town that had suffered through two previous mass shootings. A town and a school district that displayed the reactions I voiced in this blog post.
Sandy Hook should never have happened, but neither should any of the other many mass shootings of the past ... the sad thing is that Nothing Ever Changes and We Never Learn from any of these unnecessary deaths in how to prevent the next one from happening.
