Blowing in the Wind
In the dark
just before dawn
Red lights lining the
Southeastern ridge
Flashing in synchronicity
A warning to anything
flying in the area
These gentle giants
are here to stay
their claims staked
for the future
When the light of day
highlights their
sleek bodies
and
wide spread arms…
Five are hard at work
silently trapping the wind
harnessing energy to
light the way
