Twilight falling...the nearly full moon has been riding high in the afternoon sky.
She was walking into the evening sun ~ searching ~ with the moon was just over her left shoulder ~ all the time.

This moon was so beautiful yesterday afternoon when I went out to feed the barn cats I just had to go back to the house for my camera. This is just one of many shots I took. I was going for soft focus on the moon and sharpness for the tree framing it. I think I was able to get that perfect combination. This afternoon moon was the inspiration of the above micropoetry.
I am still learning how to use my digital camera. So very different from the SLR I have used for the past 30 years or so, but that instant gratification is such a rush...if the picture isn't what you want...immediate do overs!
